What the treatment involved
Creating a good result here required precision, planning and teamwork across two disciplines.
Orthodontic treatment was used first, to carefully align the teeth and create the ideal space for the missing lower molar. Neighbouring teeth drift into a gap over time, and an implant placed into a compromised space will never sit or function correctly, however well it is placed.
Once proper spacing and a stable occlusion had been achieved, the implant was placed precisely to restore the missing tooth with optimal function and aesthetics.
The final outcome is a healthy, balanced bite with ideal occlusion — built for long-term stability and oral health rather than short-term appearance.
